IMO it is dependant on your style . I find 6 panels a bit more traditional the one posted to me is much more modern.

It depends on the style of your home. The 6 panel is very traditional, horizontal panels are more modern, and simple two panel doors like the photo above can be transitional for either. To me, the 6 panel look more "builder grade" while the simpler styles are more updated, even for a traditional home.

Agreed with the above post - photos of the home would be helpful because it all depends upon the style of your home. You want it to match. 6 is going to be more traditional, the two or 4 is going to give the space a more contemporary look.

I prefer single panel doors.

We have 3 panel but our home is a craftsman style.

Not sure what style we are. Build a home cheaply as possible style i guess

If you a formal home then select Raised Panel, but if you have a casual home and intend to use Shaker style kitchen cabinets then select a recessed panel.

we have painted cabinets with etching. Cream color with darker etching. I like the arched raised 2 panel. looks kind of fancier than just square

The cabinets are short with crown molding. Island has darker wood grain

I don't believe you have 'etching'. Maybe an overglaze on the cabinets???

Since your kitchen is very traditional, go with the two raised panel door. I think the straight top is better than the arch, as it is a more updated look. If you want something "fancier" you can choose a more interesting knob or lever. Is this an existing home or a new build?

Our style is early unaffordable and melds with what are they doing.
Mostly though it's a house. We don't have enough money to afford a "style".....lol

Even a basic house has a style. It doesn't mean stylish, it means what type of house it is - Colonial? Farmhouse? Mid Century Modern? Craftsman? etc. Based on the doors you want and the very traditional kitchen you chose, I'm assuming you like things traditional. Ask your builder what style the home is, and chose updated options for homes of that style. That will help you make other choices as well for things like lighting and flooring.
