Update on the monarchs?

I know this the hosta forum, but since hosta followers dangled those caterpillars in front of me I think it’s an appropriate question——-how are they doing? Any updates?

The three monarch caterpillars I found all disappeared on the same day. I’ve been checking out my gardens, haven’t found any chrysalis. Just hoping they made it. I feel lucky I found the chrysalis this season.

I posted that I had three monarch caterpillars but it turned out to be 7! One is missing and I hope it went off to do its chrysalid thing. Too soon for that one but a new adult monarch showed up yesterday afternoon! I feel so happy and lucky that I planted milkweed last fall and again this spring. I went from no Monarchs to enjoying several and their broods this summer.
