Carpet Beetles on mat

I have found 3 very tiny carpet beetle larva on a polyester microfiber bath mat over the course of the last week or so. Found one over a week ago, another sunday, and again today. I thought they needed natural fibers - no such thing here. They are in bathroom, on a tile floor, and about 20 ft to the nearest item of any kind of fabric, and separated by tile & wood floors. I have not seen any crawling on the floors, looking often. They almost look like specks, very small, but them I can see it move. How can this be? No evidence of them in any rugs. What to do?
