what if you went with a grey color and threw in black accent shutters?

How about a light cream to brighten it. I like the idea of shutters, but i can see ther's not enough room outside of the windows for them. I'm thinking maybe adding awnings above the windows (in black or hunter green) to give the front a bit of a face lift and to add charm.

The light fixtire could be bigger because the one you have now is as small as the mail box.

Your ideas are good. You are right about not having the space for shutters. The brown-beige colour for the house is...safe. Was hoping for a bit more pizzazz to correspond with the brick. I can see from this pic how you may see the light and mailbox as being too small: what would you suggest?

The siding on your next door neighbor's house is about right. I would call it taupe (with a khaki tinge). Put the house numbers under the light in the spot where the top part of the mailbox is. Move the mailbox to the side brick wall.

Or lower the mailbox if possible.

Here's a close up of the doorway. Can you see the brick detail? Does this give you any more ideas on paint colours on the front of the house? We can move and paint the mailbox as suggested!

I love this red brick paired with a color that has a greenish base...perhaps a sagey-green or a gray?

I would also re-align your light, numbers and mailbox to match this image:

It would require moving your light up higher, which would be nice to get the light out of your eyes when standing on the front step.

put the mailbox on the brick wall with some eye catchy vibrant color like lemon yellow or dull blue...or if u want to leave it like this then also fine enough but do work with its position.

Quite like the dark gray in the Custom Craftsman picture, above. Would not be at all like your neighbor, goes with the brick, white windows and roof color. I would leave the soffit under the eaves white. The black accents would look sharp, although I would get black pots by the front door that are at least 2' high. They would show much more and punctuate the entry. You could move the existing black pots to the walkway level to give a layered look for your annuals.

Consider staining the landing and the walkway to compliment the brick. Consider the paint colors and more as mentioned here already for door and facade. The light adjacent to the door could be rectangular and more substantial with larger house address numbers arranged vertically below it. Update the mailbox, consider freestanding unit as well. Tricky, cause it looks pretty tight in picture.
