Install pool in November?

Can anyone think of complications installing a new liner pool in November in NJ? We are located too far from the pool company we want for them to install in the spring. The only way we could get them was to agree to a November install. The pool would get filled and closed and opened the first time in spring by a different pool service. Thanks!

There's not a problem provided the temperature is 50 degrees or more.

I would recommend trucking water in to fill it immediately. If you fill with a hose, it will have to go through the night and the temps would dip down, to what i feel, is too cold for the liner.

The liner needs to stretch into place and it's best to have favorable temps on your side.

Sounds like a recipe for finger pointing if anything should go wrong.

Well it was 88 here today in north jersey on the first day of fall so that probably means it will be 25 degrees on Nov 1.

We just installed out pool with the finish ending at the beginning of November and we are in Ontario Canada. We had a few mild days and even got to swim for a week (we filled the pool with the truck and topped up with our hose) we ran it at 82 degrees for five days to let the liner stretch and settle in then closed it for the winter (just in time because it snowed the next week). No issues with a fall install. Enjoy.
