We just recently added walkways to our existing pool area and will be redoing the lawn. The first picture is of the walkway to the pergola which needs landscaping around the front of it. Much of the patio design and pool incorporates curves while the walkway is straight. The second 2 pictures are the new walkway leading from the driveway. There were grade differences so the use of granite steps were necessary. We are thinking of using river rocks (also in pool area) along the house. Not sure what to do with landing which is in the 3rd picture. The ground begins to slope right after that landing. The last picture is of the pool and fire pit to give an idea of the rest of the patio. As for plantings we are in Massachusetts. I appreciate everyone’s ideas :)
