That's cool. I don't know though, I'd never spend $2,000 on that, maybe a few hundred... but we wouldn't ever look out a 2nd story window and gaze out onto the pool. We'd have to walk right up to it from our back door to be able to see it since our pool is set back. I guess it depends on how much you use it at night and what extra money you can comfortably spend.

I have seen pools (CA, NV) with this addition. Some are fabulous, some are "blah". As with anything applied by hand, artistic talent and experience yield different results...and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My favorite had the pebbles applied so as to render a "Milky Way" look, a sweep of dense pebbles which faded at the edges.

The company that sells it recommends a seed spreader to apply it . Just can’t find any reviews on this product . Maybe it’s too new I guess ..

My opinion a bit too over the top and that is when stuff starts looking tacky. I have those LED balls that float and at least when I no longer like them I just take them out.

Patricia I really Wasn’t asking for opinions of the look I just wanted to know if they really work and look like the photos. And those big balls are awesome for a kids pool party!! . Definitely not the look I’m going for plus I don’t need or want that kind of hassle... storing, Inflating them etc.

@iheartmybeebs yes I did! It came out nice. Certainly not as bright as the photos they advertise. I was thinking to maybe add a black light somewhere over the pool to enhance the glow pebbles. You really only notice them when standing over the pool and they are really cool and subtle. I think it was an extra $1500.

jow many bags of glow in the dark pepples used? I love this look too. I was going to go with optic fiber lighting in bottom but this glow in the dark looks so cool.

Don’t do it! Looks nothing like the photos they advertise. They must’ve used the kardashianphotoshop app. I was so excited to have this done but when I waited to see it at night it was a big fail. 😭 You can’t have any lights on and you only notice it when looking directly down in pool. I suppose I could install some black lights over pool to magnify the affect. Go with optic fiber.

which product did you used? brand supplyer? here in quebec there is not much market for those kind of project, so it s hard to find these pebbles here around. i dont want to use the cheap amazon stuff.

@Strategies VLP AGT is the company. The pebbles are suppose to have a higher glow factor but like I've previously stated they look nothing like the advertisements. It was really a waste of money. I would definitely look into fiber optics. You don't mix the glow stones into the krete. You sprinkle them on top and gently trowel them into it because you don't want to bury them because then you really lose the glow effect. I bet high quality glow pebbles from Amazon would give you the same look. Just make sure they're on the larger side.
