It has a fogging nozzle that produces a good fine mist to coat all surfaces of leaves. Yes, it is intended for mosquitos, but I find it doubles as the best hand-pump type rose sprayer.

Foaming nozel is used it car cleaning, its like a garden hose attachment with a jug (for soap, hence foam) but with more options then the garden fertilzer mixing ones. Also generally costs a bit more.

I never knew that there was a thread about sprayers but I did buy one when I got into roses about 2 yrs ago. So far, I absolutely love it and it is a gallon and a pump not electric. I got mine from HD.

I used to buy Ortho Roundup sprayers but I dislike the new , chunky plastic nozzle on them. I do like that they added a little filter on the bottom of the intake tube to keep out small debris. This spring I bought a Husquevarna 2 gal. pump sprayer from Lowes I think, and have been pleased with it. It has a plastic nozzle but it is the old type that can deliver either a fine spray or can be set to spray a stream at quite a distance. So far it is holding up. Cost about $17 or $18.

I can't remember how much was Scott's but it had settings on nozzle cone, fan and stream .I totally forgot to add that...lol

Vap, that thread is awesome. I realized what a mosquito sprayer can do now. It makes more sense on hitting both sides of the leaves. BenT T also posted the same sprayer. I don't mind getting another one. Thank you BenT and Vap.

I just order the mosquito one from amazon..... I like the fact that it uses half as mush spray.....

Me 2 so that I can have 2 sprayers. I think I will turn my first one to Hone Defence. Their electric pumps always breakdown on me.
The mosquito sprayer will be for my Thrips :)

I have 8-10 Gardenline Multipurpose sprayers from Aldi, about $6 each. 2 of them are for washing my big dog-shampoo sprayers. I have a few of them at each location. Some for orchard, some for roses, some for gravel parking area and driveway......I like them better than the sprayers from HD. Have to check out the sprayer for mosquitos.
