I'm in NY. We want to plant bushes on the top perimeter of this wall. As well as possible remove the hydrangea trees. Any advice on how to design this? I want some evergreen plants so it's not bare in the winter. However I don't want any type of pine or Christmas looking bushes. Any suggestions? See pics in comments.
