Your existing white is so much better with that floor tile. A bright white is only going to make the beige look dingy.

I also think your grayish neutral is off as well. Look at SW Modern Grey as it does look good with travertine such as yours.

The other color that will look great is SW Canvas Tan. A more modern look would be to have the trim and walls match - that could work with the Canvas Tan for sure.

You say the trim and walls match but in the picture the doors and trim do look lighter than the walls. Maybe post more photos of other areas and a better plan will take shape.

Please do not use gray. I know it has been the trend for 10 years and everyone currently thinks the only way to have a space look "updated" is to add gray. Gray does not work with your major elements and never will.

You can try some other colors. BM Grant Beige will look really nice with your cabinets, but harder for me to judge, from a photo, if it will look good with your floors.

The Dover White looks good to me. I don't think it makes the tile look dingy. Nothing wrong with a crisp clean white ... it goes with everything.

Chispa most color experts would disagree with you about white - it is truly the hardest color to get right and a crisp white has it's place but usually NOT with beige toned floors. I think Maria Killam gives good advice about this and this is just one of many articles about it:

It’s really hard to recommend a color online. Your lighting, and all of our monitors are so different, so please take these recommendations as starting points.

Your floor tile has a very pale, almost neutral cream accent tone in it, amidst all the tan. Match that, then make your ceiling a tone or two lighter. On my monitor, SW 7012 Creamy (below) or even Dover White are possible matches for it and would make good wall colors for the space. If by trim you are referring to door trim, paint it the wall color. There’s nothing eye catching about it, let it recede into the wall. Good luck!

Accessible Beige is a color that would work well, with out any hints of yellow, that could be pulled from the tile.

I think we have decided on accessible beige. we are not changing the granite but instead painting the cabinets.
