Hanstone is a decent choice for quartz. But that choice has no chance of working being matched with travertine anything. Its a COLD/WARM clash in the works. Travertine is a warm colored stone in the pink red brown family . You need a counter that works with that. Or you need to change the travertine.

@User, what would you recommend? I really want a lighter countertop. I've looked at Caesartstone and Cambria options as well even. What about Silestone's calacatta gold? One designer told me I don't really need to consider my floor too much because it's just there, and I shouldn't be too concerned about it. Does that sound right?

Just speaking about brand; not about your color choice. I have had Radianz Quartz Adirondack Birch for over 4 years now. It still looks the same as day 1, no staining, chipping, discolorations, etching, etc. Love them!
