This is my favorite room of the house. It is quiet and cozy, our reading room and media room. I just took out a beautiful area rug due to an old dog and her messes. Now I am reconsidering the whole room. I'd love suggestions on color and arrangement. I've always felt like I don't have many options, but maybe someone has a vision that could work with existing furniture. Photos are of den from both sides and small half bath off of den. I'd like for den to be artsy, academic/literary, and calming and cozy all in one if possible.
