I am in the process of finishing our old basement. The previous owner had a second 2” slab poured on top of the old one i plan on removing this for extra head room and while i have the jackhammer installing a sump pit with a backwater. I plan on installing dmx then 5/8 T&G OSB with lvp eventually and the. spray foaming. the house with 2” of closed cell foam. I have a few questions

1- Since i’m installing a sump pit can i level off the slope towards the drain?(it’s a pretty noticeable slope)

2- is the idea of the dmx to trap all moisture between the concrete and the product? The website says to run it to the wall then seal it with spray foam. Would i also want to seal it where the toilet flange comes up with foam as well? and how would it tie in with our furnace and hot water tank area?

i should also mention that there is no poly or vapour barrier under our slab the home is from 1952.
