Yep, and they hurt when you bump into them.

I got mine a year or two ago. It has grown a lot. Probably close to the same size, six inch pot. I picked it up at a Pike Nursery in the Atlanta, Ga. area. They carry some nice sans, sometimes, it just depends. They don’t seem to keep the same stock all the time.

Found a couple other similar ones - powysii, and Lavranos. Anyone else want to chime in?

Correct me if I am mistaken, but isn't powysii quite a lot smaller?

I thought so, too, but I have seen Lavranos, and Blue Kew referred to as powysii, so I thought it worth mention. You guess is as good as mine.

Frankly, when I first saw your photo (and WITHOUT reading comments below), I thought about 'Blue Kew' (or 'Kew Blue'?) The colour is very spectacular.

When I bought them, one leaf was dangling on by a thread. I have planted it. Do you know if the subsequent plant will be the same?

I used to grow Lavranos 23251.....which is similar/same except not as blue. Good plant.....and easy to propagate from leaf cuttings........I just ran out of space...

Even if the new plants come out more green, the whole plant structure is so intriguing, that it will be (in my eyes of course) worth growing.

Sansevieria Lavranos '23251' green type.

Don't know about the blue type but the green comes true from cuttings.

Lavranos collected plants and tagged them with numbers due to they might be named elsewhere. When the proper name comes along was to be replace over his number system.

Seen a picture of them stacking to over 4 to 5 feet high and many stocks.
