Decided to paint before I do the floors. Paint color is light gray almost looks white.

I would keep the floors as light as possible. What a lovely room!

Cute house! I agree with others, light or at most a medium stain in a nice brown tone - nothing too red or golden.

Add me to the votes for light stain. I remember before the super dark floors became fashionable and fresh that most of the wood floors were lighter and were so easy to live with. They didn't show as many scratches (or dust). I don't know the names for it but that is what I prefer.

I love dark floors but I think in this case a nice natural wood would be good now that the space has been brightened up/

For window treatments, some pretty bamboo shades would look nice and light and bring the wood tone of your floor into the space. Make sure to the get the privacy backing. We got these in sumac and were very happy with the quality.

Floors came out great!!! I’m very please!! Thanks for the support from everyone!! Already started moving furniture back in almost forgot to take final pictures.
