Have had problems today as well. In fact, I tried to post a photo and a comment in a thread and both times my attempts just vanished. Very frustrating.

I tried twice yesterday. Wrote a long comment, added pictures (that seemed to load) then it all disappeared when I tried to submit. Then I gave up

Well of course a fabulous princess is going to post...but the rest of us mere mortals are having trouble.

But will my door-opening tabby make the cut?

Apparently we can share critter pictures but not backsplashes. Alrighty then. Works for me.

Tried again with photos of my kittens instead of my kitchen, but no dice...

Critter pic (5th or 6th attempt trying both jpg and png formats. This times I've reduced the size)

The tile pic that uploaded on the first try was 740 kB. The kitty pic failed at its original resolution at ~6900 kB, but loaded fine when I reduced the size to 1300 kB. Or maybe I just got lucky when I uploaded the smaller pic.

I haven't been having any trouble, but all have been < 300 KB. Let me try something larger.

The picture I just uploaded is 1.05 MB (GSFC's 60th Anniversary picture).

You do have to wait until the image goes from a pale image to a crisp/bright/sharp image. The larger the image, the longer it takes. It took a couple of minutes for my 1.05 MB image to load. (I used the "Photo" option, not the "Houzz Photo" option.)

ETA: I just tried to upload a 1.4MB picture and it didn't work. So there may be a limit on the size...or maybe I just got lucky with the one above! (I tried it with both the "Photo" and "Houzz Photo" options.)

I tried last night and waited for the picture to turn clear but nothing posted, not even my comment. Resizing didn't help either. I'm also posting from a desktop and not my phone or a tablet.

JPG 1.68MB Waited about 45 seconds to change from grayed to clear. From a laptop. Used the photo button. And its animals......

In the past, I've been able to load larger photos. I assumed that Houzz was automatically resizing them for storage.
