Ive had this poncirus for 16 years and it has never bloomed.
I transplanted it last spring from a woodland environment to a clearing in the yard. It grew 2 branches about a foot in length each. Then this year it leafed out great but has not put out any new branches.
Ive tried fertilizing it 3 times over spring and summer and it just seems to have stalled growing at all. It has large swelled buds at almost all of the leaf petioles, but i can not get it to grow anymore.
Also does anyone know when this thing will flower. That was my main reason to grow it, to have a unique fruiting tree no one else around has.
