Design Dilemma Paint Home Decorating

Den Wall Paint Ideas?!

Wife and I are stumped...WHAT TO DO WITH THE WALLS?! All the trim and ceiling will be scraped and painted white (unless otherwise advised) and we were thinking a shade of green to compliment the orange/brown brick and plants we’ll have throughout. But how dark or light should we go? The room tends to “cool” the paint, so probably need warm tones...

Thoughts? Different color ideas? Thanks!!

Here's an idea for you: paint the ceiling and area above the molding a color in a wispy green and keep the wall paneling pretty much the same color, just a lighter shade. Here's a visual - only they've used a "haint" blue. They've brought the blue down with accessories. You could do the same, only with green.

Neutral on the walls and add colorful wall decor instead along with matching pillows.

Blinds from HD for window

Lower TV so you can use a larger screen

Cuved blue green wall decor to contrast all the lines in the room

I really love your den it's got such great potential! I also agree with Manon a totally cool thing to paint the ceiling something other than white. I like the new moody dark jewel tones - especially in a den and especially with your brick standing out against them. I'd vote fore a mushroom ceiling, down to the paneling, then a rich green or teal ...

Idk... this room might have same on walls and ceiling [it's Agreeable Gray]. Another discussion mentioned trim in Alabaster, or Dover White, or Macadamia... but that's just tossing out names.
