I like it, too - BTW, Sharon, I'm posting this at 7 in the morning and GW says you posted yours 7 hours ago - WOW I can't remember the last time I stayed up that late! And Theresa, yours says posted 4 hours ago - that was at 3 in the morning - which is usually when my eyes fly open but I'm not on GW that early. I often wonder what my sleeping hours would wind up being if DH were to retire and be able to get up at a normal hour again.

Yes, it probably was about 3. I sometimes fall asleep earlier but wake up after an hour or two. And can't get back to sleep, so I check the site, play a few games on my ipad and hope to get more sleep. I often think I should go and sew but in broad daylight, anything I did would be ready for the ripper!

Rita, I'm usually up late.....sometimes 3 or 4. When I took Tylenol PM, I was wide awake all night. LOL Wish I could sew but, while I might be awake, sewing decisions aren't always the best at that time. Donna, Scrappy in that there are lots of various green and neutral squares, some of which were taken from the scrap bin. lol

Very cool pattern, Sharon. I really like all your dark green and neutrals. We sound like a group of night owls here. I'm often up sewing until one or two. The time just goes so quickly.

A few different names for this block.....depends on the site you look at. I used Quilters Cache directions for Split 9-patch......except I didn't know that's what I was doing. I saw a picture that a quilter friend made of black/white and orange center and figured it out. Many ways to lay it out, too.
