Need help with a small living room

Living room is 13 ft x 14 ft. Has a huge window 6ft x 6ft. Has a double French door at an angle and a huge armoire that I need to be included.

Would very much a modern look but cannot figure out the size of a sofa or sectional sofa. I have two red leather chairs which I'd like to incorporate as well.
A complete wall/window will be covered up with linen white curtains and sheers.

I need help to determine where to put the furniture and especially the size. I would really want a very modern look.

Please provide design ideas for furniture as well as color of walls and furniture. The rest of the house is furnished with modern walnut colour furniture and the flooring is dark oak.

You're right. Please find a sketch of the floor plan. I have an old armoire that is 21 1/2" deep and 48 in" wide. When the doors are open it spans out to 88". The window is huge and I was thinking of covering the entire wall (incl. window) with three panes of decorators white linen and sheers in between. The wall where the armoire is decorator's white and the other two walls are a kind of grayish taupe clay color and varies in shades throughout the house. I really like modern furniture. The dining room and bedroom are walnut modern and the kitchen is light maple and modern. I have difficulties with the size and the color of the furniture I'd like in the living room and I do not want to make a costly mistake. I need help. I also like sectional sofas but are they really that practical? We often watch TV in this room as well. No children but a cat with claws reside at our place...Thanks for your help!!
