The talent and artistic eye some of these gardeners have, makes me in awe. One guy said my thoughts out loud. "These are so beautiful, I want to go home, bulldoze my garden and give up".

Wow!! What awesome gardens! Each one had its own unique flair, but Myra Wallis’ garden really spoke to me. I really liked her use of weeping plants and trees that I like so well myself and I think their use complimented the rest of her garden. Thank you so much for sharing!!

djacobz, you are so right. Each garden has it's own personality. Oh, she is so artistic. She has a lot more very unusual and mostly dwarf trees that I couldn't include. This IS a hosta event, ya know. Lol. You would really enjoy her garden at front of the hoise. I could only hope a bit of her vision might rub off to me.

Ken, I asked a few members at Saturday's Hosta meeting about Soucek's garden. Apparently the property is still in the family, but gardens have not been maintained and some mowed down. Sadly, I think this happens a lot.

Lindalana, you are welcome. I've certainly done more this year to encourage my artistic eye to strengthen. Not sure its working. I obviously don't have the stamina of some gardeners and could use a helper/muse/partner in crime.
