How sweet of you! My goodness, this can be anything. I would do a small bouquet of flowers and a gift card to her favorite take-out place.

Has her size changed? A new piece of fall clothing appropriate to her job or lifestyle? (Or nice even if her size hasn't changed)

A framed picture of the two kids for her desk? (if she has one.) An insulated fun lunch bag? A pretty travel mug?

Jo and maddielee were thinking along the same lines I was thinking. Swell makes a great water bottle and I love my Yeti coffee mug. Both come in fun patterns or colors.

If she doesn’t have one, Vera Bradley makes nice quilted tote bags that hold stuff one takes to work, with pockets for a coffee mug or water bottle, and they are washable. If she doesn’t use the traditional briefcase or backpack this could be useful.

Anything that gives her the gift of time. So I like Maddie’s idea. Or pay the delivery fee for grocery delivery for a year or a gift card for house cleaning.

These are all great suggestions. No matter what you decide on will be appreciated. What is a milestone for her is invisible to most other people. You are so thoughtful.

We just love her so much! Our son could not have picked a more wonderful person to spend his life with, and of course, she gave us our two wonderful grandchildren. There I go, all verklempt...

When my officemate came back to work after having twins, her in-laws had sent a lovely orchid for her desk. I think it made her feel loved and appreciated, and she treasured it! All those new nurturing mommy hormones kept that orchid blooming for years.

I vote for housecleaning and/or babysitting gifts. She's going to be exhausted!
