Attic insulation dilemma

Help! It's getting cold here in Vermont and I'm getting ready to re-insulate my attic with blown in cellulose after removing old insulation. But I cant figure out how to deal with 45 degree walls that are roof on one side and interior bedroom on the other. There are no soffits and I'm afraid if I just blow a bunch of cellulose down them they'll get condensation building up in them. What do I do?

If your attic has no soffit vents, then how is the attic ventilated? Are there gable vents at each end of the attic? Do you have a ridge vent or vents in the roof deck?
