That foundation looks so huge I hope you are planning some plantings in fron of it tho lessen the impact. I like the idea of the sage but I would do the whole house that color I think a different color for the foundation will only draw attention to it. Please plan the plantings now too.

Thank you Patricia, This is a beach house so it is built above the flood plain. That is the reason for the 16' foundation. Most people go a shade or two darker on the foundation. I was thinking that I could give it a little personality by adding a green since it is all white everywhere else. My husband and contractor want a dark green, I want a softer green. There will be foundation plantings (some sort of hollies) that will cover 75% of it in the front. The sage would blend with the plantings. On the garage side it would not have any plantings to hide the foundation. But I am thinking of wood tone garage doors to match the wood tone on my front door.

This is an example of landscaping I anticipate doing and shows the dark foundation which is currently trending.

I agree with Orchid Interiors--you want to avoid going so dark on the foundation--that all of your landscaping "disappears". The Creekside Green looks lovely--I also like the Springfield Sage you posted--Your house is beautiful :)

I ended up sampling creekside green and saybrook green. Creekside looked best to me. It is the darker color. Thanks for the color suggestion Orchid! I think it’s a winner. So here’s a new dilemma: what color to paint the front porch ceiling. The 2nd photo was taken late afternoon. Notice how bright the porch ceiling is?! I was going to paint it a very light green/blue for that haint blue look. I am wondering how that will look overall? Front door will be a light wood tone. Driftwood roof (light brown) and dark brown metal roofs under the two upper windows.
