We just got new granite countertops and extended our island from 4' to 9'. We will be installing glass white/opaque subway tile for the backsplash and painting the cabinets an off white and the island prob a charcoal gray. But I have a few design questions....

1. we will be removing the existing light fixtures and installing cans and pendants, how many pendants and what size should we use over the 9' island? how many total cans?

2. we want to go with the brushed gold for the faucet/built in drinking faucet/built in soap dispenser, drawer & cabinet pulls & light fixtures. we found a couple of delta faucets (Trinsic or Cassidy) we like but they only come in brushed champagne gold which is more like a rose gold and I'm worried most of the light fixtures & pulls I'm finding are in yellow brushed gold finish. Will it clash if I use different shades of gold??

please help!! any other design advice is welcome too! thank you in advance!
