Front Door Placement and Kitchen Layout - Duplex Renovation

I'm in the process of renovating a duplex and wanted some thoughts on moving the entrance door from the side to the front (sxs duplex so the work being done will mirror each other) and thoughts on the kitchen layout.

I have an Andersen A-Series hinged inswing glass door I was thinking of using, but didn't know it was a good enough look to justify purchasing a matching one. The entrance would impact the cabinet layout in the kitchen and the overall flow, so any thoughts on that would be great.

I also have two Andersen Double Casement windows (64X63) that i'd like to place in each kitchen at counter height, facing the front. Would placing the sink under that be my only option? I am also thinking of placing a large island with seating in the middle of the kitchen but didn't know if it would flow well or not.

Most people will see four options in the ribbon below the message text box:

Photo (with camera icon): For posting photos from your computer
Houzz Photo (with house icon): For posting pictures from a Houzz site
Video (with arrowhead icon): For posting a YouTube or Vimeo video
Link (with chain icon): For inserting a link with a label

This post will discuss the first item - "Photo"

Option 1: Using a picture on your computer - "Photo"

(1) Take a picture using a digital camera (or film camera, but get your pictures on a disk when they're developed & download them to your computer).

(2) Upload the picture to your computer

(3) Place your cursor in the message text box where you want the photo to appear in the message.

(4) Select the "Photo" icon.

(5) A "File Upload" window will appear.

(6) Navigate to the folder/directory your picture is in on your computer.

(7) Select the picture you wish to post in the message and select the "Open" button

(8) The picture will appear when you are returned to the message text box. It will initially appear as a light gray/washed out image. Do not do anything else until it becomes a bright/crisp picture.

(9) Once it is bright/crisp, you can continue -- uploading additional photos (follow 1 - 8 above again), adding text, formatting text, or submitting.

We'd like to help, but we need more information.

First, though, I strongly recommend posting the relevant pictures in the thread rather than forcing people to go to and fiddle with the page where you have your pictures. Remember, we're all volunteers here, so make it as easy as possible to see what you're talking about. (Plus, you have a lot of PDFs there, which ones are really relevant?) It may be why you're not getting any responses.

Also, I didn't see a fully-measured/labeled layout of your space, we really need that as well.

we need a to scale floor plan showing all windows , doors plumbing as much info as you think we need.Make sure the drawing shows a, ll measurements in a drwing that can be enlarged so we can read the measurements too.

When uploading images, they need to be image files (e.g., jpg). You cannot upload PDFs. If all you have are PDFs, you have several options:

Take a screenshot of the image in the PDF using a laptop or desktop computer (so you get the largest version possible)
1. Convert the PDF to JPG using an online tool ( https://www.google.com/search?q=con+vert+pdf+to+jpg&oq=con+vert+pdf+to+jpg&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.5191j0j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 )
2. Re-draw the Kitchen space (and whatever spaces are also under discussion) on graph paper (free online) either by hand or in something like MS PowerPoint (what I use), Paint, etc. Then, save as a JPG file.
3. Take a picture with your phone or camera -- just make sure the image is large enough to be legible
Regardless of what you do be sure it's legible (minimal blurriness, legible dimensions, etc.) when it's uploaded.
