I believe this is 'Hahnii Gold' (belonging to S.trifasciata hahnii group).

Now there is several which to me all look alike. I call this one Sanseveria trifasciata hahnii 'Golden Hahnii'. I think it is one of the nicest and hardest to grow of the hahnii group.

There is one called 'Lucille Polen' which has more darker colors but could be growing conditions. Also there are times which hahnii Streaker looks like this but will have other leaves that differ.

By the way, this plant was the last one in the store. There were some damaged leaves but I had no choice. It has since been repotted in a 3-inch clay pot. I make my own succulent mix which has excellent drainage.

Charline, I would love to take credit for such a well grown plant but I purchased it that way. Real test is to see it in one year. I switched to my own potting soil mix which is more moisture restraining. Not recommended for beginners. It is made of my well rotted compost from grass and yard waist. I do add a bit of perlite some times. Must watch watering and keeping it warm. They always do best for me during the summer when I bring them outside. It is only then they can take tons of watering (temps 80 or more). I have a few more not as nice as I showed that are doing well for me.

That's one I purchased last year with the start of a 'Solid Gold' pup. That pup has another 'Solid Gold' pup of it's own. I plan to separate it next year.

Some swear by clay pots but I always liked the plastic ones.

I have transferred my two cultivars of hahnii group to the hydroponic pots. Just couldn't grow them well in the standard way - usually underwatered in winter. If this hydroponics stunt does not work, then I will give up on hahniis altogether :(

Basia, I used to grow a lot of orchids in hydroponic media, mostly in diatomite rocks. It was the best media in my experience.

Basia, I feel your pain. I too lost many hahnii over the years until I think I got it. Explain how your system works and why you think it might do well. Sans are slow grower until every thing suits them. Why not try with just one that way you have a test subject to compare to.
