Hi friends. We are finally remodeling our master bathroom in a home we purchased a few years ago. We never take baths and have a bathtub in another bathroom. We don’t have the ability to grab space from other rooms. A closet door is in the middle of the bathroom. We could move that door to one side, if it would buy us anything. Ideally, I would like a bigger shower. We love the windows and the skylight that is over the existing tub and don’t want to lose them. Here are some specific questions.

1. Would it be stupid to remove this sunk-in tub and replace it with a statement credenza/cabinet.
2. if we keep shower where it is, could we have it jutting out into the room a bit? If we align it with the water closet wall it would give us another foot in the shower. ( Note, that means the windows could be slightly covered by shower glass). We could angle the jutted out shower so it abuts the window (see blue tape).
3. We could remove the wall between water closet and shower and put a frosted glass partition and move the plumbing to the back of the shower. (I’m not crazy about this idea, but would give us more room in shower).
4. any other layout ideas?
