I get no spam. Email spam would not have to do with Slimjet but mainly the companies that have your email or possible the search provider you use, or using Google Chrome. Slimjet does not track or have any idea who you are.

I use 3 different email addresses. One is to give companies that require I give them email and I don't want to. I get tons of spam because of them. I've got a second for companies that I regularly deal with that I need to give them an email, such as Amazon or Wal-Mart. I get less spam there. The third one, a highly secure email program called Zoho, I only give it to friends and family. [and my bank]. I have NEVER gotten one piece of spam there.

As far as search providers, Start Page or Duck Duck Go do not track you in any way. Either one would be good; my personal preference is Start Page. Google does track you and your email could get out that way. The whole Google system from browser to email to search tracks you and sends companies info.

Hi Brad, I wondered , It is so weird that the spam only started when I installed Slimjet. I wondered if somehow Google was fighting the slimjet program . I liked Slimjet but at that same time my computer started to act weird , I was getting all this spam email and wondered what the heck was going on. I uninstalled Slimjet and the spam has slowed down to a crawl. I had not uninstalled Chrome so maybe google was doing just that , creating havoc with Slimjet somehow ?

Not sure about that. I've not run across that issue. You got me stumped.

If you try Slimjet again, in the upper right corner click the circle icon, and in the drop down menu, click ad blocker and be sure to turn it on if it isn't. Then in the same drop down menu, click more tools and click get more extensions. type Ublock Origin and install it into Slimjet. You will be wonderfully protected.
