What colors have you tried? You could go so many ways with this. Turquoise, teal, navy, mustard yellow, red, green, coral or a rust/copper color. Try a bunch from an inexpensive store and return the ones you don’t like.

Does the rug have to stay? A colorful one could help guide your pillow choices.

Covered or not unless compltely enclosed you need outdoor pillows IMO what you need is color get a rug with some color in it then choose colors from it for pillows or do a really plain rug and have some real fun with pillows. I also see leaves that have blown in so definately outdoor fabric for pillows.Out doors to me is where you can go crazy with color and prints that you would never use inside

So let loose and have some fun.

Agree with changing the rug and let that guide your pillow choice. If its not in the budget to change the rug, I’d eliminate it altogether and you’ll have endless choices.

The rugs is staying. So I need some options for pillows that will work with it. Can I get away with patterns or does it need to be solid? I’ve tried yellow, white, blue and a brown faux fur but don’t like any of them (at least together).

Faux fur

I like the bright colors, maybe search for a patterned pillow in those shades to break it up.

Find one patterned pillow and add two solids pulled from it, or one solid and one smaller or larger print.
