It's got 4 different ecru / tans & 4 different dark blues. Mine is a king sized bed, this thing is enormous (covers the whole top of bed). Impeccable workmanship, so precise.

And then I heard it's from a kit, which oddly sort of broke my heart. But still I just find this breathtaking & am TOTALLY enjoying sleeping under it.

I'm in Physical Therapy recovering from 2 torn rotator cuff tendons. So I've told my Guild the binding is finished, but I can't carry this anywhere, or bring it in alone (commute by Subway), unless someone drives over to get it, I'm fostering this quilt for this Winter.

Even a kit quilt could easily be put together badly by someone who didn’t take care. With all those hundreds of little pieces, there are a myriad of opportunities for something to go wrong :-)
