Is this rug durable for high traffic areas?

Concerned about wear with pets and daily usage. Does it shed a lot?

As far as shedding, jute rugs do shed little fibers [not a ton] & they 'fall out' under the rug which when you lift the rug to clean it looks like dirt, but it's just little fibers and they are easy to clean up.

A jute rug's fibers are natural, soft and durable. These rugs are pet-friendly and great for high traffic areas. They clean relatively easily, requiring just a vacuum cleaning in most cases.
