Modern Wall Paneling Source?

I'm interested in installing some modern wall paneling, but am having trouble finding a source. What I'm looking for is more "wood panel", such as large-ish squares/rectangles. I often see such things in hotels, bars, and restaurants with a modern or modern/mid-century aesthetic. I've enclosed a representative photo, but not looking necessarily exactly this. I am, however, not looking for "planks" or stick-on.

What I've found in terms of sourcing is manufacturers that seem to do large, custom projects. Is this just a DIY/custom thing where I get a contractor who is expert at creating from veneer + MDF or something? Ideally, there is a manufacturer with standard sizes, trim, and hanging system one can just order and install.

Thanks in advance for help/ideas.

As a diy you could use cabinet doors as they did with this fireplace surround.

Nothing is as easy as it seems. You can order systems, I would do it with the aid of a premium contractor or wood worker

You might want to investigate 'compact laminate' and Wilsonart's TFL panels.

Maybe visit a KBIS show....Las Vegas Jan 21-23, 2020.

You could use hardwood plywood in your preferred species. The black gaps at the seems can be achieved by routing a rabbet along the edge with a router, and then painting it black. Here is an example of that method installed over drywall with glue:

Might have to adjust the install technique if installing straight to studs.

I don't have experience with doing this personally, and you'd still need a carpenter unless you're skilled and have a wood shop. But plywood might be cheaper than a pre-fabbed system. Just throwing it out there as an idea.

I found this

https://panelspec.com/products/wall-panel-systems/panel-surfaces/wood-veneer-wall-panels/

The panels you posted could be custom made. You can purchase sheets of veneer exotic wood and then glued onto high grade plywood (I think it's called furniture grade maybe) A wood working shop or cabinet maker could probably make them.

Google wood veneer, or veneer panels.

Prefinished kitchen cabinet, Pax, or Besta doors from Ikea could be an inexpensive solution and can be hung using either a French Wood cleat or a Hangman Hanging Device

Or you can use painted glass or acryiic panels on your wall using SS Stand Offs that can be purchased on Amazon and Outwater Plastics.

Have you looked at Arbor Wood by Koroseal? Wallcovering installers can install it.
