You could use hardwood plywood in your preferred species. The black gaps at the seems can be achieved by routing a rabbet along the edge with a router, and then painting it black. Here is an example of that method installed over drywall with glue:

Might have to adjust the install technique if installing straight to studs.

I don't have experience with doing this personally, and you'd still need a carpenter unless you're skilled and have a wood shop. But plywood might be cheaper than a pre-fabbed system. Just throwing it out there as an idea.

The panels you posted could be custom made. You can purchase sheets of veneer exotic wood and then glued onto high grade plywood (I think it's called furniture grade maybe) A wood working shop or cabinet maker could probably make them.

Or you can use painted glass or acryiic panels on your wall using SS Stand Offs that can be purchased on Amazon and Outwater Plastics.
