You will want to get down on your hands and knees to see if the finish is damaged. If it is, it will be kind of crusty or crackled. The is VERY rare for laminate. Go ahead and scrape the hazy bits with a finger nail. Are you seeing anything come off? If so, is the finish glossy underneath the scraping?

OK. Let's assume the haze is due to RESIDUE left over from the THREE chemicals interacting with each other. Don't panic there is a pretty easy solution to this: Windex Original Formula.

Yep. Windex. Windex is safe for the finishes on hardwood, vinyl and laminates. Windex is a DEGREASER (a very mild one). That's why you can wipe up finger prints (skin oils) on glass with Windex. The amount of alcohol in the Windex helps it dry SUPER fast. And THAT'S what makes it safe for most finishes.

I have personally removed Pledge (wax coating) from finished wood using Windex. Here's my formula:

1. Spray liberally over the hazy patch

2. Let sit for 5-10 seconds

3. Wipe up with a CLEAN cotton cloth

4. Lightly mist a second time and wipe up IMMEDIATELY with a NEW cotton cloth

5. Inspect the area in an hour or so.

Repeat 'light misting' once/day (don't over clean/soak) until the haze disappears. I would be greatly surprised if the haze sticks around after the first 'light misting'.

Good luck. Test the windex on a small area (behind a door or some place inconspicuous) before moving on to the rest of the floor.

And get rid of the Wet Swiffer. It is NOT to be used on laminate.

Never use pine sol on laminate floors. The best to clean laminate floors with is vinegar or ammonia water. It's hard to hurt a laminate floor. I can see the windex working because it has ammonia. I bet the pine sol and the peppermint oil is smeared across your floor and causing the hazing.
