I've learned that two chairs are much more versatile than one loveseat. You might want to consider swivel chairs for easier TV viewing. When not being used, facing them toward each other rather than at the TV looks better, aesthetically speaking. Otherwise, everything facing the TV can look like a theater.

We got rid of our 7ft couch and got two chairs and a love seat. We had a swivel put in one and both rock and are loungers. The loves seat is also a lounger. Everyone has a seat,raised feet and an arm or two to lean against. It's really been a perfect set up.

90" sofa is too much for an 11 x 15 room. look into 84" or less with depths around 38" or less, you'll be glad you did.

I encourage my customers that less is more, and preserve open space. I would not use a sectional in a room that size. Rooms that are over-crowded with furniture are not attractive and confining. Having said that, it's your space to use as you see fit. Good luck

Hi, I'm Neha. I recreated your room in a 3D format to help you visualize better. In my opinion, a 90" sofa is a little too much. Try to keep your room as minimal as possible. Maybe a smaller sofa, a loveseat and an accent chair (like shown in the design) would be the best combination. Mount some nice colorful wall art and add indoor plants to bring in some color and life to the room.

Wow that looks nice. Thank you. What size sofa and loveseat do you suggest if not 90' for the sofa? Would this layout work with 2 accent chairs rather than a loveseat and an accent chair?

I found a sectional that is 89' with 2 seats on the sofa part and the third seat is a seat with a chaise. It measures 69'.

I was considering trying to center it more on the long wall so there would be space behind the chaise, so it wouldn't be pushed against the wall. Then add an accent chair facing in towards the chaise part? What do you think about that?

I don't know! This is why this room has been empty for 3 years. :(

As per the design, the sofa measures 82" and the loveseat measures 62". You could surely increase a few inches.

Looks like you really love sectionals. IMO the sectional you found would look just fine.

I personally don't like to keep the corners empty, so I wouldn't center it. If you plan to center it then place a side table or a floor lamp in the corner to complete the look.

Truthfully, I am only drawn to a sectional because of another room in my home (family room) that has a sofa and 2 chairs. I was just trying to do something different in this space...maybe that doesn't matter and I should stop worrying about that aspect of the design.

My home is a traditional colonial with 4 seperate rooms, kitchen, dining, living and family.

I think a more traditional style sectional, rather than the style you have in the picture, with a smaller or more narrow coffee table would work better in your space. I had a sectional in my family room the size of two full sofas. It provided back support and sat up to 8 people. My family room was 15x14.
