How should I lay out my home office / studio?

Hi there!

I am in the process of repainting my home office - it was previously tan with a dark green accent wall, which I'm now completely painting off-white to make the space feel lighter and more airy.

Following this, I also have the opportunity to rearrange the room, and it would be great to get some thoughts / advice on what to do.

Here are a couple photos of layouts I've had - I didn't like the desk facing the window, as I would always be dealing with glare and sunlight from outdoors, and my back was always to the door:

This next layout has been preferable, as I can see the door to my left and still see the window to my right:

As I'm in the middle of painting, my desk is currently in the centre of the room. Although this doesn't entirely feel practical, I do like something about not sitting directly in front of a wall, which led me to thinking about possible new layouts:

Here's a top-down view for scale:

Finally to note I'd like to have space for the furniture seen in the above photos, although I'm open to moving things into different rooms if necessary.

I'd love to hear people's thoughts regarding how I could best use the space! Any advice is really appreciated.

Many thanks,

Tom
