Super cool hood!!

Hi, I love this kitchen and the hood is so different and dramatic. I'm under the impression that I have to have the bottom of my vent about 36" above my 48" Wolf range. But the hood in this kitchen is so much higher. Would you mind sharing any insight about this? I would love to create a hood like this but didn't know I could. Thank you!!

Thanks for your inquiry. This project was done a while ago, and I do not recall the exact height of the hood liner. However, it is very close to the top of the millwork arch. Also, the ceiling is fairly low, which might make the hood look higher. Best of luck with your project, Oak Hill Architects
