I have not heard anything from anyone. I just checked and her Go Fund Me page still has the money sitting there doing nothing. I am sure the family could use that money. I fear what has happened to the family. She was the glue that held everyone together.

If the Go Fund Me money us still sitting there it worries me that they still don’t have a working heater. I hope there is some way for her husband to get the money, I hope he knows it’s there. She certainly was the glue that held them together but also taught them well. I believe it was Tim maybe that could do a good job with the laundry and wanted to help out with it, I bet he’s stepped up to the plate there. I don’t think her husband was in the best of health himself. The sadness still has to be overwhelming in that household. I wish we knew how they all are...

Well I think I am going to contact Go Fund Me or her family. I gave money to the fund and either want them to send it back to me so I can send it to the family or release the money to the family. it's not a small amount and could really help them.

Please let us know if you have any word? I've thought of them so much and wondered how the boys and Aimee are doing.

I sent a check in June written out to her husband with a note, to the funeral home. It does appear he cashed it, so some systems that were set up may be working.

Heard from Aimee. She don’t know mamas log in for the go fund me so I suggested she call them and see what she can do. Here’s her response. She’s lost without her rock.

Larisa thank you. I had no luck with the Go Fund Me site. I am still waiting on a response. I believe Aimee and her family are entitled to the money. My heart breaks for MamaP's family. I wish them peace. Time will help them learn to live with their grief but as you said, "The pain is real and never goes away."

Miss that dear sweet lady. I think she was a wise woman. Surely she withdrew the money knowing how ill she was. I just cannot see her not taking care of that for her beloved family. Does anyone know if they got the furnace? Larisa, could you find out?

We’ve asked but no response yet. Aimee seems to be more withdrawn right now from social media/houzz especially around the holidays. Don’t blame her, the first one hurts the worst. Mama very well could of withdrawn it as you can do it at any time.

I do know right after mama passed they got a new cooking stove. I feel like I remember them talking about the furnace and getting a new one but trying to confirm. They are getting hammered with lots of snow and bad weather right now so hoping that my memory is correct.

The money is still sitting in the Go Fund Me account. Mama got very sick very fast and probably couldn’t do anything.

It will always show money on the page for go fund me but it can be pulled out at any time she got money to the go fund me.
