I was given a mahogany Duncan Phyfe table with a beautiful finish. While a pretty piece it is more formal than our lifestyle. I have no dining room chairs and would like to find or rethink some chairs to tone down the formality of the table. Plus, we play cards on this table often and folks sit there for 4 hours or more. Chairs should therefore be casual, comfortable yet somehow play well against the formal table. Thoughts?
