The Wales Gray would be pretty with all of those gray tones

another option is to go w/a color. maybe a soft blue or green? Or glass? I love these. Lunada Bay, Agate in the herringbone (comms in at least30 color options)

I would try to find a tone close to the main tone in the countertop. I would not use any of those tiles.

that makes a diff. the gray is more of a driftwood gray tone. So no blue/grays.

Go to tilebar and look at the ones I pictured. see if you like them. look at some of the other options. it's only 5 for 5 bucks. order some

I don't like any of your tile options except maybe the far left one. size is good and the gray is the right shade. But it's going to be a lot of gray. up to you.

I'd look at some of the glass options from Lunada Bay or maybe Oceanside Glass tile. it would add some interest to your solid tones there.

I think a plain white (or off white) tile, even in a herringbone, is going to look rather sedate. If that's the look you want, then check out the diff white glazes from Fireclay or Encore.

The whole gray aesthetic is getting to the point of being boring as well as over used ...i would try to move to a more interesting and even exciting backsplash...something that sort of makes you smile when you walk into the kitchen...as to the herringbone ....same thing...everyone has that....at the very least there should be some texture...color...sparkle...even multi colors in some form ...this is the perfect tiny spot to do something delightful that you can love..that sets you apart from every plain gray kitchen...
