I have a very similar bed, and I like to tuck the covers into the frame b/c it looks nice and neat and the frame is actually part of the design. so for me, I use king so I don't have too much fabric to tuck in.

I find duvets for Kings a bit too small. I am always trying to cover up an inch or two of the box springs, I don’t want a bed skirt, as the frame is beautiful. Have been wondering what to do?!

I like coverlets better than duvets on those type of bed frames because I think they look best with the bedding tucked in so normally a regular king works well.

Jonio turn the comforter the other way so it covers the sides, consider adding some more pillow and decorative sheets so you can turn down the top fold and allow th comforter to by pulled down to the end and tucked in. Ill take a pic of mine at some point.

Interesting that you all tuck in! Do you also tuck in duvets? I have a duvet cover OTW from west elm that perhaps I can tuck in!! I agree the bed frame looks nice and since no box spring I’d want it to show! Great advice all!

Just FOLD the duvet in thirds at the foot of the bed, add euro shams to match or coordinate. It's not MEANT to be a bedspread....: )

Just because a duvet insert is labeled king, queen, etc. doesn't ensure a standard size. In order for a duvet to look nice and full, you need to buy an insert that's about 6" larger then the cover. So measure your duvet, then carefully select the insert and make sure of the dimensions.

And yes, fold it in thirds at the bottom of the bed for layering. Have a contrasting blanket and perhaps embroidered top sheet for contrast and interest.

Your best bet, for ANY king duvet cover is Company store, oversized. A 116 inch width!!!!, 96

length. No matter the king duvet cover : ) In down, three different warmth levels.You will have the fluffiest, fullest result. I doubt you will find a larger one, anywhere.

RL Locations: I measured and my duvet is widest left to right, as it is laying. It is shorter top to bottom. pottery barn shows it as I am using it...as a bed cover. I don’t need a lot of useless, folded, heavy duvets or blankets. We enjoy sleeping under a nice down comforter. I just wish it fit the bed. Will probably get a low profile box spring next time. Thx all.

Thinking of doing this mirror above dresser it’s 34 inches. Dresser is 65 inches long. Wondering if it’s too large and if you all like? Pros???

how much space from the top of the dresser to the ceiling? One idea I always tell people, get some blue painters tape and tape it out, it helps alot.

First off, I would not tuck the duvet or the quilt under the mattress. I'd fold the quilt in half, and have it end at the foot of the bed. Then I'd fold the duvet in thirds and place it at the foot of the bed as well. This way only the sides extend past the mattress top.

Second I think if you use a 34" round mirror, you may want to center it and add something on each side. Like sconces or framed pictures. I actually prefer a rectangular mirror, probably slightly shorter than the dresser.
