I'd probably cut the cable off outside, push the stub into the wall, and fill the hole with wood dough.

Is the fitting field-applied or factory applied? If you pull hard enough it may come off if it's field-applied.

Are you trying to preserve the cable (ie. hook it back up) or just get rid of it?

I am trying to preserve the cable and hook it back up. It's a field applied fitting but I'm trying to keep it all intact if possible, as opposed to cutting running a new cable from the outside of the house or
drilling a larger hole in the interior drywall to make it fish through easier, although that's what I'm leaning toward now unless there's a simpler way. Thanks everybody

Your options if you can't reach it through the original hole with something like a pickle picker (https://www.homedepot.com/p/GrabEasy-24-in-Flexible-4-Claw-Pick-Up-Tool-Jewelry-Retriever-Clog-Remover-Drain-Snake-in-Chrome-PF0401/202505170) is to make that hole larger -or- cut a hole somewhere below in a discrete location. You can then run a fish down to that hole and hopefully reach the wire there and tape it to the fish and pull it up.
