Are you modeling the dormer on the house -- specifically the roof?

Is this a fake dormer? If so I vote nowhere.

No there are no dormers on house, and this is a fake one

I dont have a picture of front but its like this and that addition is coming off the right side

Just seems like a lot of roof not to have something...it’s 51 feet long (addition and garage)

In peeking at house roofline it looks like barn roof lines. I would put a pretty cupola on roof top centered with detail that suits home. Dormers are a pain and leak prone.

House is gonna have regular pointed gables, sorry that isn’t the greatest depiction

Make it real and have more light in the garage.

Need much more information. Will you be using the space above ceiling of the garage? This isn't the time to be figuring this out. It should have been part of design, since it will affect structure. Think hard about this.

I would do nothing there. Minimize the look of the garage.

There will be some storage above ceiling that’s it, this wasn’t original plan....The garage trusses got changed to run in the opposite direction, per builders recommendation after they got started for reasons I don’t try to understand here is a different pic I found

You don't need or want a dormer. Your garage should NOT be the focal point of the house. Your front entry should be. Right now it looks overwhelming since it's all wood but once it's finished it won't look so large and imposing. Nothing there!

To help the addition blend I’d keep the 3 window dormer. Add pillars and an overhang like you have on the front of your original house. I’d recommend you put garage or sliding doors in the back of the garage so it can be a flex space for large family gatherings and use it other than just storing cars.
