Since you haven’t done the trim yet this would be the perfect opportunity to put in the motorized solar roll ups. They’re so great, and only need a remote to roll them up and down.

I agree that a wall of draperies would be best. Not only for the reasons that Patricia Colwell said, but also because blinds won’t keep out the sun in the morning, even if you have black-out ones, they allow light to come around the edges. On a July morning with all those windows you will be awakened at 4:30 with sun in your eyes.

You may want to think about a recessed ceiling track for draperies. A clean modern look, and no bulky curtain rod to deal with. I have a wall of windows in my bedroom, and I have the recessed ceiling track with draperies that are lined with blackout material. At night it’s cozy and enveloping; during the day it’s open to the view.
