Mid century kitchen

last modified: 6 years ago

The house was built in the mid 60s and had one owner before we bought it. We want to keep the style appropriate, and hate the idea of tearing out the old. Trying to be conscious of wasting resources just to freshen up, I was thinking of painting or restaining the cabinets. This kitchen is in good shape except the counter needs replacing. I was thinking of a white quartz. The elephant in the room is, of course, the paneling and wood finish on the doors and frames. Any ideas?
