lets start w/the walls. I love the Hale Navy. why don't you do the other walls in Simply White?

If you really want gray, you'd have to look into a new sofa at some point. Look at BM Light Pewter.

as for the kitchen, up your bulbs to a 4000K temp to neutralize any yellow hued light. IF you want to repaint those, hire a pro. and it's not cheap. I wouldn't do gray in there. I'd stick w/the white. perhaps to a blue on the island (if you have one), or maybe a blue gray.

Forget gray. Unless you are into getting a new sofa, and painting out the cabinetry.: ) and ripping the family room carpet to hardwood. Ka ching.!

Settle on a clean ivory for walls until then.You could also TRY a bit of sea salt........pull the tone into family room decor. Beach glass or Early morning on kitchen and family room walls. Add the tone to sofa, a bit deeper and NO beach themed pillows. More like below.

IMO Sea Salt would work the yellow is there no way to gat around it without painting the cabinets but draw attention to other items instead I would first change all the light bulbs to LEDs in 4000K for sure and in all the rooms .BTW I would do Sea Salt everywhere too.

My counters have grey... the first pic the green is close to my family room, which is wide open past my hand.... so you could definitely do the greenish color or the one on this sample... its so pretty in person
