How about some pale blue panels similar to the blue in your rug?

Love your room! I would use a simple cream textured linen look panel. Target, Ikea and BB and Beyond all have inexpensive choices.

Make sure the panels are wide enough - double the width of the window is the decorator standard. You don't want them to look skimpy.

Drapery heights come in a few standard sizes. Measure up from the floor to the top of your window and choose the height the fits nicely between the window trim and the ceiling. You don't want them too short but you also don't want them crammed against the ceiling. Drapery hooks can add a couple of inches if the standard heights look awkward.

Add your color with art and pillows. You don't want colored curtains to be the focus of your room

The art above your sofa is hung way too high. If you’re not married to them, you could also bring in color with new art.
