It's Japanese Imari ware in the Arita fan type of pattern. The Arita fan is a style of a pattern not a cut and dried pattern. From the back appears to be late 19th century, possibly very early 20th. Very nice piece!!
There are newer pieces out there but you can tell by the back that yours is old.

In looking at your link, I found very similar markings on the back of some pieces from the Meiji Period. This period was from 1868 to 1912 so would put mine in the time frame I was told. The woman I got it from is 86 years old and her uncle brought this from Japan before World War I.

Very pretty piece! Due to the possible lead content, enjoy it on display only; don’t use for serving food.

Nonsense...it is high fired stoneware/porcelain....no lead leaking out of that. Where the danger of lead in pottery comes is with the opaque lead based glazes and the low fired pottery/ceramics to be used for decoration.
BUT I wouldn't be using an old Imari Japanese porcelain bowl to serve my goulash from!!

There will be no food touching this bowl. LOL It's strictly for display!
