rescued a monstera

So I rescued a rejected monstera deliciosa last night from the curb. I guess the UPS guy dropped it. My neighbor refused delivery and my UPS guy quietly offered it to me. I of course ran down the street in my socks to get it.

I have a East facing bedroom window (or west, but from my research it seems like it might prefer less harsh light)

It looks like an immature one. But there area ton of shoots crammed into the pot. My inclination is to just let it adjust to its new home and not stress it out more. It looks healthy but I’ve never had one of these.

Should I just let it do it’s thing for a while? When will I know it is a good time to repot? Any other tips for this new member of my plant fam?
