Sweet Vibernum leaf trouble

Hi. A few months ago I planted around 15 Sweet Vibernum's. They were 2 gallon pots. All seemed good for a few weeks but I'm noticing more and more of these grey/silver marks on the leaves.

My first thought was some sort of leaf-miners (based on the first photo), but I'm not so sure now.

I've searched online through the photos of SV leaf issues, but I can't find something quite like this.

I live in Orlando, FL Zone 9B. Plants are in a south-facing yard on 3 different sides of a perimeter fence. Lead issues on all three sides. Plants have been well watered (mainly by mother nature) since they were put it. Soil is generally pretty well drained/sandy.

I appreciate the guidence.

Your nearest USDA Cooperative Extension Service branch office should be able to give you a reliable answer.

As an aside note that it's spelled Viburnum.

define 'a few months ago' ...

how planted... how watered..etc ...

how is the damage distributed on the plant ... could it be related to shipping damage??

anyway .... shipping and transplant damage ... aka stresses ... especially if minor ... could take a few months to show up .... especially if done in the cool season ... i call it tree/shrub time ....

what he said about ruling out other problems... never a bad place to start ...

btw: were these end of the season .. if you have one in FL ... bargains???

This is planting season (for the next 2-3 months) in Florida. It's 85F today....

Thanks for the comments. I will keep an eye on things and see how they progress.

SV seems to be one of those shrubs that always has some leaves that are a little damaged. When I walk round the neighbourhood that certainly seems to be the case. Given the number I planted recently, I just wanted to check if there was anything obvious wrong.
